I can’t believe how long it’s taken me to get this Duty Free Shopping Dover to Calais post live – I know I mentioned it ages ago. I wasn’t going to put it live but I’d already taken the photos and I’m loving some of the products so I thought I may aswell – even if it is a few months late. I bought these products in World Duty Free on a P&O Ferry to Calais on my way home from a Valmeinier Skiing Trip. I didn’t realise there were World Duty Free shops on ferries which was ideal seeing as I had a few euros left over.
The first thing I bought was a set of Jimmy Choo Perfume Miniatures. I’ve been meaning to treat myself to a new perfume for a while and couldn’t resist this set of 5 for 29 euros. I’d chose miniatures over full size products any day, in fact I’ve written and entire post about that here. They’re ideal for travel, or just keeping in your handbag. The perfumes in this set were Jimmy Choo Illicit, L’eau, Illicit Flower, Fever and the original Jimmy Choo. I think Fever is my favourite. The only down side to these is that they’re not spray bottles so I’m hoping I can find a pump that fits them.
The next product I bought was the Loreal Glow Mask. This was 4 euros. I love the Loreal masks and have tried quite a few of them already but I was yet to try this one. They’re such good value for money, usually around £7 each in Boots stores and have at least 5-7 uses. I’m yet to find one I don’t like. I also bought a Vitamin E Sleeping Mask from Body Shop which was only around 3 euros in the sale. This is perfect for me at the moment as my skin is SO dry. I’ve been using this a couple of times a week, layering it on when I go to bed. My skin feels so much more hydrated in the morning.
The last product I bought was the Benefit Beachlorette Kit. I originally went to the Benefit stand to buy Hoola but when I saw this for 20 euros I just couldn’t resist. Especially as it included a miniature Hoola anyway. As well as Hoola it includes Sun Beam, the POREfessional Primer and their famous Roller Lash Mascara in a travel friendly cosmetics bag. If you haven’t tried the Roller Lash already I’d really recommend it, it’s only of my favourite Mascaras and the miniature size lasts ages.
Have you tried any of these products? Have you got any Duty Free purchases lined up for your next trip abroad?
Until next time,
