My empties posts are turning into a two monthly thing as I don’t seem to be using many products up recently. Although I do have quite a few this time around. I think it’s probably due to more baths which = more pampering. But I am getting worse at using products up before opening new ones. I must start to do this again.
Firstly are two Batiste Dry Shampoos. These are in every single empties post I’ve ever written and I cannot get enough of them. I tend to stick with the coloured ones now (dark and deep brown) as the scented ones require a lot more effort to get rid of the grey. Although they do smell lovely. I couldn’t resist buying their new tropical scented one the other week. I’ve tried other brands but nothing seems to come close to Batiste so I’m going to continue stocking up when they’re on offer.
Next is Maybelline’s Baby Skin primer. This wasn’t actually an empty from October or November but I found it, empty, at the back of my drawer so I thought I better include it. I didn’t like this to begin with as it really broke me out but seemed to be OK once my skin had gotten used to it. It’s made me lose faith in Maybelline Primers.
I used up one Body Shop Mango Body Butter and remembered I had another so used it straight after. This has such a gorgeous scent to it. Body Shop certainly do my favourite moisturisers and I would definitely chose them over any other brands. I’ve just started using their Gingerbread scent which smells amazing. These keep my skin moisturised throughout the day and you really don’t need to use much. One big pot usually lasts me at least a month. And that’s with moisturising every day.
Another moisturiser I’ve used up over the last couple of months is this Boots Botanics Nourishing Body Butter. I don’t think this is available any more unfortunately. This was so thick and smelt lovely, it contained Honey and Grapeseed Oil.
I’ve been using Micellar Waters to remove my make-up over the last colour of months. I loved the Nivea 3 in 1 Sensitive Caring Micellar Water which removed all traces of make-up without any vigorous rubbing. Or any rubbing at all, including waterproof mascara. This also contains Grape Seed oil and lasted almost the entire two months as you don’t need to use much at all. I’m now using their Cleanser and Toner so I’ll let you know what I think of that in next months empties.
I bought Avon’s Moroccan Argan Oil range a while ago but I’ve only just started using it. I’m definitely going to have to repurchase though as my hair loves this. This range is regularly on offer too which is a bonus, products start at just £1.50. My hair looks much shiner and longer after a month of using this twice a week.
I used Clinique Take The Day Off at the beginning of the month, my skin loved it. I mentioned it Winter Skin Saviours post so you can read more about it here.
The final Moisturiser I’ve used in the last couple of months is 2chic Avocado and Olive Oil Body Lotion. This is a natural vegan moisturiser for normal to dry skin. I did find this to be quite thin and I was ending up putting on far more than I needed but it was very moisturising and not sticky whatsoever.
Lastly is the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer. I was given this sample at a blog meet earlier this year and thought I’d give it a go. I really loved this but I’m not sure whether it is worth the price tag, my skin seems to love Loreal primers which are almost half the cost. Although Benefit Porefessional is my favourite and this is a similar price tag. I would love some high street/drugstore primer recommendations and I’m currently on the search for a new one.
Which products have you finished up this month? Which were your favourites?
Until next time,

Everything's so bright and colourful, OMG you're the only person who's agreeing with me about the baby skin primer! I love nivea products!

Everyone went mad for it when it was released so I 'joined the hype' to see what the fuss was about and didn't like it at all. I think Benefit POREfessional is my favourite, so expensive though!
