Winter – there we go I said it. I know we’re only just in September, and we’re having our second wave of Summer at the moment but I’m always my most motivated in Autumn/Winter when it comes to fitness. And I could not wait to update my Winter Fitness Clothing when Adidas kindly gave me the opportunity.
I’m currently having meetings with PTs, ready to really get back at it, almost 9 months after giving birth to Arthur. I haven’t put much pressure on myself to lose the baby weight up until now but now I feel ready. I want to do it right, and slowly, so I’m trying to find a Personal Trainer that can offer me that insight, guidance (and discipline!).
I’ve been lucky enough to lose most of my baby weight quite quickly, but as I haven’t been exercising I’ve lost any muscle tone whatsoever so I’m around 2 sizes bigger than my usual size. This means that much of my current Winter Fitness Clothing is too tight, which definitely doesn’t motivate me to get back out there. I felt like I needed a whole new wardrobe for a fresh start into a new fitness routine – which is where Adidas came to the rescue.
Adidas kindly let me pick a few items from their Women’s Clothing collections to give me that boost I so desperately needed. I’ll be sharing more photos of these items as I wear them over on my Instagram but wanted to do a quick post on here in case you wanted to grab any of them before they sell out. The Adicolor 3D Trefoil Shirt (pictured above) is my absolute favourite and there are only a few sizes left!
I’m hoping to start the Couch to 5K app again and return to running weekly Parkruns so needed Winter Fitness Clothing to keep me warm and dry. The first things I picked up were the Own The Run Hooded Windbreaker and the Aeroready Designed 2 Move Cotton Touch Long-Sleeve Top (pictured above). The long-sleeve top fits like a dream and I’m sure I’ll be buying it in the Black too. I’d recommended sizing up.
I chose a classic pair of black leggings (the Aeroready Feelbrilliant Designed 2 Move Tights) as well as a pair of short tights (Seamless Aeroready Short Tights) that I was yet to have as part of my fitness wardrobe until now. I know you may find shorts a strange feature in a Winter Fitness Clothing post but sometimes when it’s raining, there’s nothing better than running in a pair of shorts. It doesn’t take you as long to dry either!
My last two fitness clothing picks were the Believe This 3-Stripes Medium Support RIB Bra and the Adicolor 3D Trefoil T-Shirt (both pictured above). Most definitely size UP in the sports bra, I thought I was going to have to cut this one off me when trying it on, and depending how oversized your like an “oversized shirt” I would recommend sizing down in the t-shirt.
It wouldn’t be an Adidas order without a couple of loungewear items added would it? I currently only own one hoodie which is my I heart NY tourist hoodie from when I went to America years ago and I often throw this on for my journey to the gym. I thought it was about time I updated this so went for the Adidas Sportswear Future Icons Hoodie in Victory Blue (gorgeous colour). Then lastly picked a pair of Essentials French Terry Logo Joggers which I can already tell I’m going to be living in over Winter.
Have you got any of these Winter Fitness Clothing items on your wishlist?
Until next time,
Ami x
*All of the items mentioned in this post have been very kindly gifted by Adidas.

I have been looking into updating my fitness clothing too so I loved finding this and seeing what you picked out from Adidas! The tights and tops sound comfy and durable.
