I’ll say the same as everyone here but where was 2025 gone? It feels like yesterday we were shopping the January Sales and now we’re here thinking of Christmas all over again. My boys are another year older now, my 5 year old is very exciting about Christmas and my 2 year old is starting to get on board too. They’ve written their lists for Father Christmas and I headed to Very to do the Christmas Shopping this year as it’s so nice having everything in one place.

From kids toys to beauty, garden accessories, jewellery and clothing, Very has everything to complete your Christmas shopping with ease. So mulled wine in hand and a Christmas movie on in the background, we got started…
Rupert is getting his first Tonie Box for Christmas so first of all we picked a couple for each of our boys, George Pig and Lullabies for Rupert and Cars 2 and Coach Hippo for Arthur. We also picked up the Podcast Tonie which updates daily with a 10 minute episode. I thought this would be great to encourage screen free time with breakfast in the morning.

My Mum, Grandma and Dad’s partner are all very much into their gardens so we headed straight to the Home and Garden section for their bits. I loved these Garden Blooms and when I saw these Hot Air Balloons (little nod to Bristol there), I put them straight in my basket for a couple of family members. This stool was absolutely PERFECT for my 84 year old Grandma who is starting to have some mobility problems but is still a very enthusiastic gardener.
My to-be sister-in-law is always tricky to buy for but a know jewellery gifts will always be a hit, especially earrings. I picked up these gorgeous star and moon earrings which I know she’ll love. She teaches yoga and I feel like these are a perfect theme. I also love all the personalised jewellery that very have to chose from, I’d like to get myself an initial necklace with my boys’ first initial on.

Very have loads of Branded Clothing available include Levi’s, Columbia, North Face and so much more. I had a browse of this to find bits for my brother, Dad and fiance as you can never go wrong with clothing. I loved this green Jack Jones quarter zip fleece (pictured below) and picked up a Levi’s T-Shirt for my fiancĂ© as it’s one of his go-to brands. I did get distracted on looking at Adidas Trainers for myself but I resisted…
We’ve decided to upgrade Rupert to a cot-bed after Christmas so we picked some Bluey Bedding, a Bluey Cushion and a Bluey onesie for our Bluey obsessed boy. I was also pleased to see that Very had the Silent Night Cot Bedding Set in stock too so we purchased this instead of having to buy elsewhere. It really did make our shopping easy, I don’t think there was anything that we needed to go elsewhere for.
Once we finished our Christmas shopping we had a browse of the Christmas decorations as we can never resist some new bits, we ordered a Christmas Garland for our new fireplace (more on that soon!) and picked out some Christmas baubles. They even sell Christmas Trees, Lights and other decorations. It was so nice browsing together from the comfort of our own sofa.

Very made it so easy to shop with their featured Christmas Gift Guides such as “Christmas Gifts for Her”, “Festive Home Savings”, “Stocking Fillers” and even “Christmas Pyjamas”, although we’ve decided against the matching family PJs this year. I feel so organised and on top of things, I’ve even got all the family presents wrapped so we can really enjoy this festive season without panic. Which is usually impossible considering both my boys have December Birthdays too…
I’d love to see your favourite Christmas picks this year? What is on your wishlist?
